EasyPay digitalizes reception in Romanian clinics, with an investment of over 500,000 euros by 2026.

The self-service digital reception eliminates queues, reduces waiting times, and cuts operational costs by up to 30%.

EasyPay, one of the most important local providers of self-service terminals and services, with operations in 28 countries, is launching an innovative digital reception solution for medical clinics, with a total investment projected to exceed half a million euros by 2026. The digital reception takes over repetitive administrative reception tasks and transforms the patient experience into a fast, digital, queue-free process.

The EasyPay solution automates patient check-in, appointment scheduling, and payment processes, reducing their waiting time at reception by up to 55% and offering them the possibility to manage their interaction with the clinic simply and quickly, in a process that takes, on average, less than 3 minutes. At the same time, digital reception significantly streamlines the reception activities of medical clinics. Specifically, the solution reduces the volume of administrative activities at reception by up to 60%, eliminates errors related to payments and patient data collection, and optimizes operational costs by up to 30%.

“Reception is the first real point of contact between the patient and the clinic, and the experience sets the tone for the entire medical interaction. Through the digital reception solution, we aim to eliminate repetitive tasks and provide clinics with a tool that simplifies administrative processes, without replacing human interaction, but quite the opposite. We see more and more clearly that the direction in healthcare is one where technology takes over operations, and people remain where it truly matters: in patient interaction,” said Serghei Fraseniuc, CEO, EasyPay.

Based on EasyPay terminals that integrate specialized iStoma medical software solutions, digital reception has already been implemented in the first clinics in Romania, marking a premiere for the digitalization and automation of access to private medical services in Romania. This year, EasyPay aims to implement the solution in approximately 100 medical clinics in Romania, with an expansion target of 300 units in the next 2-3 years.

“We observe in our ecosystem that digitalization has become, in recent years, a necessity for most clinics. Automating reception through the EasyPay solution, integrated with the specialized medical software iStoma, is a natural step for innovation-focused clinics that aim to both streamline the patient experience and optimize administrative processes and eliminate redundant activities, thereby creating solid premises for faster business scaling,” stated Ionut Botorogeanu, creator of iStoma.

The need for digitalization in medical services arises from a shortage of administrative staff and an increase in patient volumes in private clinics in Romania, making solutions for reducing dependence on manual processes and greater predictability in operations crucial in this context. At the same time, patient expectations are increasingly closer to retail or banking standards: fast, clear, and autonomous experiences, including in payment and appointment scheduling. In this context, self-service solutions become a natural extension of digitalization, allowing clinics to standardize workflows, manage revenue more efficiently, and support the scaling of medical networks in a controlled and replicable manner.

“At MONZA Dental, continuous investment in state-of-the-art technology is part of our commitment to patients. Implementing digital reception helps us increase the quality of the patient experience, reduce waiting times by optimizing repetitive processes, while also meeting the expectations of a younger generation of patients who prefer fast and intuitive digital solutions. For us, it is essential that technology does not replace human interaction, but improves it, for the benefit of both patients and our team,” said Bianca Matei, Marketing Manager for MONZA DENTAL clinics within the MONZA ARES Group.

EasyPay is a provider of payment and automation solutions, with a consolidated presence in industries such as retail, hospitality, transport, public administration, and financial services. In 2025, the group recorded a turnover of approximately 10 million euros, an increase of about 8% compared to the previous year, due to the expansion of existing projects and investments in new business verticals. Founded in 2010 by entrepreneur Serghei Fraseniuc, the company has evolved from a startup to one of the leaders in the local self-service terminal market, both as a manufacturer and a network operator. EasyPay owns its own network of over 1,100 payment terminals and 15 Crypto ATMs and operates a factory dedicated to the design and production of self-service equipment.
